I caught a tweet by Jack Dorsey of Twitter tonight that piqued my interest for a couple reasons.
This tweet definitely caught my eye. Why?
- I thought he was referring to RSA, the security conference in San Fran this week, and was excited to see Twitter’s commitment to security
- Every startup seems to have a “deploy song”
- The grammatically correct version of the approximate time should be “1 hour”, not “1 hours”
My first assumption was obviously misled, and the third is likely an error in some library, but the second was spot on. When Aviel and I deployed (the now defunct) TweetSum, our deploy song was “The Final Countdown” by Europe. We probably played it a good twenty-five times in a row while we tried to get that sucker deployed. Hey, it was a tough launch!
What’s your deploy song? What gets you jazzed up when you’re kicking out the next release of awesomeness?
