Preserve my screen real estate by showing new tweets in an Excel-like format, with each tweet taking up one row. Suggested column headings would be "Twitter Handle" "Real Name" and "Tweet." A drop-down arrow at the end of the row gives options to favorite a tweet or unfollow that person.
Each "sheet" would be for different content, i.e. "Replies" "Direct Messages" "Search:Barney AND dinosaur" "List: Critical." I should be able to customize each sheet to include a search term or a list. Ideally I can combine multiple sheets into a new sheet to see everything I need on one screen (i.e. Replies, Direct Messages, and List: Critical together on one sheet).
Unread tweet cells would have white backgrounds, while read tweet backgrounds would have gray backgrounds. Traditional 'j' and 'k' keyboard shortcuts would navigate between rows. I should be able to clear all read tweets, and mark all as read, as well as hold shift to select/deselect multiple rows at once.
On an additional sheet, show me a list of people I am following with a notes field where I can add a private note about that person, which I can optionally include as a column on all other sheets. This helps me remember why a person would be particularly important/why I should respond to them over another.
Allow me to mute users and/or specific keywords from appearing in a particular sheet, or at least universally.
Toggle Growl (or similar) notifications on/off for each sheet.
Integrate RowFeeder so I never miss a tweet containing a particular term.

Every Twitter app has the same problem: screen real estate. Even on a good-sized monitor I can only see about 10 tweets in any given column.Preserve my screen real estate by showing new tweets in an Excel-like format, with each tweet taking up one row.
