Like Bit.ly, but more social in that the links you create and *click on* are linked back to your Twitter account.
I'm a huge fan of "open browsing", where I can share what I'm looking at passively, and see what other people are doing. Such a big fan in fact, that I even built Timelope (http://news.cnet.com/8301-17939_109-10032845-2.html) 2 years ago... but as I found out... it was a little outside of most people's comfort zones.

What I would like though, is a link shortener that is linked to your Twitter account. So when I click on said links on Twitter, it would link that click to my account, and add them in an open stream so that anyone could see of all the awesome links I check out day to day (mind you these *wouldn't* be endorsements, just links I click on). Best of all, since the clicks are linked to a twitter account, you would know *who* clicked on your links and not just how many people.

Updates

  • Launched as http://lnkby.me - doesn't do exactly this, but determines "mayors" of domains based on who drives traffic and allows you to search your previous links. on April 10, 2010 by dacort
  • These clicks would *not* be tweeted out on your account. on March 6, 2010 by aviel
